Looking for BT - Equifax only search

I know this has been asked before, but try as I may I can't find the relevant threads!

Does anyone know who of the CC companies only searches Equifax? Both of my credit files are clear with Equifax and Experian, but Experian shows an association with my wife. Experian has an erroneously reported default notice that we are in the process of resolving, but I want to do a BT to zero rate. Therefore I need to know who would only search Equifax.

Unfortunetly those links are to sheets while helpful do not get updated that often, they all rely on us telling the people that when we apply which agencies search which. There was a thread recently that said RBS group only serached equifax, they dont they search both. The ones I know of that do are barclaycard and sygma bank cards such as the jjb card. Only barclaycard gives online confirmation if you get card or not, you have to wait for sygma.

Looking at the first link, it looks like pretty much everyone uses Equifax.

I think I'll wait until the Experian problem is resolved to be on the safe side.

I can confirm in my own personal case that Barclaycard searched Equifax ONLY... if that helps!
