Dixons are giving 5% discount at the checkout on laptops not sure if they do it for the Apple ones though, and an extra 3% if you go through Quidco.

I'm looking to buy a £1500 TV, could really do with getting a bit off as that is my limit and i want to get a few extras!

Don't buy anything from Dixons, they are a bunch of b*****ds.
We bought a fridge from them last week, showed it was in stock, booked delivery for this week only to find out the fridge is actually out of stock, they don't know when they will have it but they took the money.

We sent them over 15 emails and msgs, spent apporx 3 hours on the phone, got hung up on 4 times, they won't even send us a confirmation mail that the order has been cancelled.

We have informed the bank and they are disputing it now but it's a nightmare, they service is rubbish, customer services appauling, they treat you like sh*t, basically take your money and run.

PS I have actually registered on this site for the sole purpose of replying to a thread about Dixons so you can imagine how strong we feel about this.
