Prepaid Credit cards...improve my credit?

my credit is poor and i want to try and improve it to do this i was recomended to take out credit i.e. a credit card and make sure that repayments were met. the preoblem is that having bad credit i cant get a card.

I was told from a credit checking company that prepaid cards can improve your credit rating... but surely this cant be the case as they are not actualy giving you any credit its more of a debit card? Is this true and if so what cards would you recomend?

Have you applied for a Vanquis card? They take on people with bad credit. ALternatively there is one way in which you can take out a pre-paid credit card and improve your credit file.
