Don't know if this is the right place - what are my rights with a faulty pushchair?

I purchased a stroller and accessory pack from mothercare two months ago to take on holiday with me (I leave Saturday!!!) I have used it a fair bit since as it was easier than my big pushchair and the wheels have completely worn out. There's about half a centimetre of tread left on two back wheels which makes it very unbalanced to push, and one front wheel won't swivel. To top it off the raincover fell apart in heavy rain!#
I asked a friend to return it for me today as I don't drive, and they have told her all they will do is send it to be repaired and have given her a replacement buggy which is an old maclaren one. They originally said they'd do nothing about the accessory pack (which includes the raincover) as they don't do it in that fabric anymore (two months old!) but then told her they'd order one it to replace it.
I'm really unhappy now. I bought a new stroller to go on holiday and I now have to take a second hand maclaren. If I'd wanted to take a secondhand maclaren on holiday, I'd have bought one!
Do I have any rights to challenge this? I asked her to ask if we could just have a new one of the same buggy but they don't stock it. So my friend asked for the same buggy in what is apparently the new fabric and apparently they gave the impression (without saying anything) that they felt she was just returning it to get a new one in a new fabric.
What can I do?

I don't see a problem. They're sending yours to be repaired and they're giving you one to use in the mean time. What else do you want them to do?
Can't you take the one they offered and just be grateful?0
