I would like to be able to work from home earning money. Does anyone here do that and if so what do you do and how did you get into it. Do you work for yourself or an employer?
I've looked through the mystery shopper threads, slice of pie, writer's circle and it doesn't seem to me that they generate an income for the effort involved.
Any ideas gratefully received. I've done secretarial work - legal, admin/general office work, been a legal researcher for one company which I loved but was a short term contract and not found anything since.
Currently work for nhs but not really enjoying it and practical problems with kids, etc.
Would consider any ideas.
Many thanks.

Hi Chloe5, I started a similar thread earlier this week, I work for an oil company as an administrator but would like to earn some extra cash preferably working from home using my laptop in my own time (evenings etc). So far I've not had any luck finding anything, just the usual selling things on ebay etc which I've started doing again. If you come across any suggestions, could you post them as I'd love to hear about them too!!0

have you tried the cashback sites? i know its not the kind of income your looking for but every little bit helps. i joined quidco on 1st june 08 and so far i have earned over £75. just from doing daily click, free trials and i had to renew my car insurance anyway, so by doing it through quidco i earned £20. its a long term thing but the way i look at it, it should pay for most if not all of xmas for me. Newbie Alert :wave:0

One of my friends has been making a little bit of money on the side each month by doing medical billing online. She did have to take a college course on it, however it was not a hard class and she has been making money doing this. I believe the most she's made in a month has been $1K US which is good for part time work from home. I will try to find out what website she gets work from and will be back to follow up.0
