We've got one and it's great.

I'm sorely tempted to get a second one fitted when I sort my bedroom out :)

Very happy with this box, just one problem. When it records I get quite a bit of the programme before but sometimes it misses the end of the programme I want. Is there a setting I can adjust?
    Thanks

You need to alter the padding.

Though unlike satellite a Freeview PVRs the cable boxes don't dynamically update their EPG - so if there are late schedule changes or programmes run late or early by a few minutes then they don't cope with it. Cable only update their EPG at most 4 times a day and often not that often, whereas on freeview and satellite it is the broadcaster that updates the EPG and with the BBC for example they update it virtually constantly - not sending the next programme has started flag until it is about to start, so you don't lose the end of programmes or begining.

I do enjoy having the V+ but it is also quite buggy - has some annoying bugs.

Was part of the trials team to sort out the issues.

I wish there were more than just the one HD channel (BBC HD) and just a handful of VOD in HD.

    Hey Bex

How do I do that, I had a look though the link Phil supplied above, but can't see any instructions

Mind you, it is 03.50 :rotfl:

    Press the V+ button

    Select 4 - V+ Extras

    Select 2 - Extend Recordings

You can then select the amount of time before and after to add.

If you record a lot of programmes via series link, then you might want to change the priorities (Option 3 - Recording priorities) to 1: Planned Series, 2: Planned Programmes, 3: Manual Recordings.
