Where to buy interior door handles?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a place to buy interior door handles (& the mechanisms) was going to just find some in homebase but I thought somewhere online may be cheaper. Trying to find quite modern (silver) looking ones but not too expensive!

Thanks for any advice.

We did a whole house in these handles (second down) in satin chrome. They're now (typical!) on offer at £8.99.

They looked a million dollars and the concealed rose was great as you don't see the screws. However, the fixing did involve putting a screw with a threaded collar that came from the other side through the door in two places and this was a job that required precise measuring and drilling.

Thanks very much for the advice. I think we're going to go for the exact same ones, a great price!

I had originally bought handles from I think homebase, they were quite expensive, so I had a look on Ebay, and I bought some like picture 1, for nearly half the cost as homebase, I have had them on the doors for 2 years, and still look good.

There is proper sellers that sells the handles, and some offer free PP if you buy more than 5 or it could be 7 pairs, have a look, and get an idea of the prices..

Don't get B&Q cheapy georgian style one's. We had to buy about 3 times as many handles as we needed before we got ones that were acceptable condition - the rest had to be taken back. Homebase, Wickes and B&Q all did similar handles to what we bought.

I got some from www.morehandles.co.uk, they were very good service wise and the handles I have were £23 in B&Q, I think I paid £13 for one from more handles.
