Egg free case of wine with life insurance

Not sure if this is the right place, but egg are offering a free case of wine from Virgin Wines (cost £95) if you take out life insurance or critical illness cover before 1st November.
Looks like minimum premium (for me anyway) is £5 a month and could be cancelled after 1 month.
If you put in £1 and 1 year it'll tell you the minimum's.
I did something similar a while back (before I discovered) this place. That time it was using your isa allowance which I wasn't going to. I then took out two cash isa's ( me and my wife) with the minimum of £80 each. Got the two cases of wine and a few months later got got the £160 plus interest back .
Hope this helps someone

Do you think your alcohol dependency affects your cover :rotfl:
Nice spot might just do this.

Poppy9, you should be okay - drink all 12 bottles in one go if you want.
Double check you can cancel - but it does say so under the faq's and what happens if I stop paying0 -
Bit old for all 12 bottles in one sitting now.
I will have a good read and let you know what I decide.

Wine Offer terms and conditions
This offer is open to all customers who apply for Egg Life and/or Critical Illness insurance up to and including 31 October 2005, and are accepted for cover. Policies must start before 1 March 2006. Vouchers to be used to make the wine purchase will be included with your acceptance letter and policy details, and are limited to one voucher per household. If you cancel your policy in the first six months, we reserve the right to request a refund equal to the value of the voucher that has been used. This offer is only open to new Life and/or Critical Illness policies taken out during the period. We reserve the right to withdraw or change this offer at any time. You will need to create an account with Virgin Wines and enter your credit card details to complete the transaction. The voucher will entitle purchase at no cost of a case/cases of wine up to the value of £95.01. There will also be no delivery charge - normally £4.99 per order. Only one promotional voucher can be redeemed per person, credit card or credit card holder. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher or on discounted pre-mixed cases. Virgin Wines deliver anywhere in the UK, excluding Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
They may claim back the cost of the wine within 6 months...

Well spotted Number 6. There's always a catch somewhere. £60 outlay doesn't seem quite so attractive.
"reseve the right TO REQUEST a refund" does that mean we would have to give them one?0 -
In theory a minimum £30 outlay...not really worth doing unless you want life assurance and its a competitive price...the wine isn't that good on the Virgin site ;-)
