Qvc- To Return Or Not To Return????

 i have bought a patio mat from qvc for outside, it cost 22.49 + 5.50 ish p and p.
It has arrived and it is hideous close up.
question is-- if i return it, it will be another 4.00 wasted-- so thats 9.50 thrown away with nothing to show for it, if i keep it thats 27.00 quid thrown away for a rubbish item.

should i keep it or return-- ps its big, but not heavy, so doesnt qualify for free return.

Distance Selling Regulations. When did you order it, and when did you receive it?

I thought QVC did free returns?

For larger items over a certain weight they will come and collect for free, otherwise you have to pay to return it through Royal Mail.

I've returned loads of stuff to QVC. It almost never costs the same as the P&P it cost to send to you as you've got the packaging still to return it in and that's part of the up front cost. Go to the Post Office and check how much it would cost to return - you may be pleasantly surprised.

  • I thought you could return anything for any reason up to two weeks after you buy. Just send it back.
