£320 Gas bill in 12 weeks - is this right??

Is it based on an actual reading? If so it's probably right.
If it's an estimated reading, check the meter to see if its accurate. If not call the gas company with the actual reading and they'll re-issue the bill for you."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I thought my £130 bill today was bad since during last few months ive cut down on gas use due to it being warmer.0

It could be right but, as already suggested, you need to check your meter readings
I pay £138 a month for gas / electric (2 bed flat - out of the house all day) if that's any help0 -
For 3 weeks (April 28 to May 19) my electricity bill was £117 from NPower. 943 units used. Previous quarter with EDF was £107. For that quarter 840 units used. I have checked the meter for the last 4 weeks (post EDF) and so far 204 units have been used. I have no changes in my household or in my usage yet the NPower reading soared up and away compared to the periods before and after. Is it possible for NPower to remotely manipulate the meter? They switched my supply in an underhand way and so they only had it for 3 weeks before I moved it back. I have not yet paid. Any advice? I think it would be good if several people with a similar experience took collective legal action if possible. Any thoughts?0

Would that be about right in that period?
We are a 2/3 bedroom house using Gas to cook on and have a combination boiler.
Do check the npower sculpting thread as well to see if you have been overcharged on the high rate units as a lot of us have !0 -

Look closer to home and make sure some skunk farmer or pirate radio station hasn't 'borrowed' some lecky off you!"Now to trolling as a concept. .... It is saying we have used 4889 units since Feb.
Under the heading 'Cost split' it says : first 645 at 5.5.759p and then next 13468 at 1.990p:cool:0 -

Over 14,000kWh for 3 months from late Feb to late May is very high for a 2/3 bed house with a combi boiler.
You would expect the late Nov to late Feb consumption to be considerably higher; so an annual consumption of 40,000kWh would be a reasonable estimate - and that is twice the UK average.
I would firstly check to see if the start or end meter reading on the latest bill is estimated.0
