TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering this prize promotion, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1 - Promoter: AOL (UK) Limited, 68 Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8YW
2 - The prize promotion is open to all residents of the UK, France and Germany aged 18 years or over except employees (and their families) of AOL (UK) Limited, AOL FR and AOL DE and any affiliates or subsidiary companies, as well as representatives or agents of AOL and anyone else who may be involved or connected with the prize promotion. Any entries submitted by AOL employees or agents will be invalid and will not be accepted by the Promoter.
3 - You may enter this prize promotion at any time by creating an account and completing the online registration form found at http://sport.aol.co.uk/euro-2008. Once registered, you will be invited to answer a simple question based on the match promoted. A new question will be posed twice a week and you will be automatically notified via email when a new question is posted. For each question you answer correctly, you will get one entry into the Prize Promotion, so the more questions you answer, the more chances you have of winning.
4 - Only one entry per account, per question.
5 - You may nominate up to four friends per day to register for the Prize Promotion. For each valid email address entered, you will receive one additional entry into the Prize Promotion up to a maximum of 4 per question. You must obtain the permission of any friend you wish to refer.
6- There will be two Prize Promotion draws a week. The Prize Promotion will run on a bi weekly basis, with draws taking place within 3 days from 17th, 19th, 21st, 25th and 26th June 2008 (each a “Bi Weekly Promotion”). The Prize Promotion will start on 17th June 2008 and run until one hour before the match to be played on each day of the Bi Weekly Promotion, (each a “Bi Weekly Closing Date”). All correct entries received will automatically be entered into the next Bi Weekly Prize Promotion and entrants will be invited to enter the Final Grand Prize Draw which will take place on 29th June 2008. Any entries received after 19.45 on 29th June 2008 (the “Final Closing Date”) will not be accepted by the Promoter.
7 - There will be 6 Bi Weekly Winners and one Final Grand Prize Winner, who will be chosen from all the correct entries given by entrants who answered the final question and at least one other question correctly throughout this Prize Promotion .
8 - The prizes will consist of:
• For the Winner chosen on or within 3 days of the 17th June, a 32” HD LCD TV, with an approximate value of £640.00;
• For the Winner chosen on or within 3 days of the 19th June, a 42” HD LCD TV, with an approximate value of £1200.00;
• For the Winner chosen on or within 3 days of the 21st June, a 42” HD LCD TV each, with a an approximate value of £1200.00;
• For the Winner chosen on or within 3 days of the 25th June, a 47” HD LCD TV, with an approximate value of £1599.00;
• For the Winner chosen on or within 3 days of the 26th June, a 47” HD LCD TV, with an approximate value of £1599.00;
• And for the Final Grand Prize Winner – a Home Cinema System with an approximate value of £2398.00.
The cost of any delivery charges are included as part of the prize and the Promoter will make every effort to ensure that prizes will be delivered to winner’s within 30 day’s of the winner confirming acceptance of their prize.
9 - The winning entries will be selected by an independent judge on or within 3 days of the 17th 19th, 21st, 25th, 26th and 29th June 2008, and the winner(s) will be notified using the details given when registering by within 7 days. To contact you we will use the contact details supplied by you when entering the prize promotion.
10 - If you are notified of a winning entry, you must confirm acceptance by email to claim your prize. If you do not reply to confirm acceptance within 7 days of being notified as a winner, we may offer your prize to someone else.
11 - By entering this Prize Promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use the details submitted on registration to contact you with regard to each Bi Weekly Promotion.
12 - Submission of entries will not constitute proof of receipt and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries or acceptances which the Promoter does not receive.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit. No responsibility will be accepted for entries or acceptances which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post or elsewhere. Illegible, incomplete, late or defaced entries will be disqualified.
13 - The prize(s) must be taken as offered. No cash equivalent or other alternative prize(s) are available in whole or in part except as provided for in these terms and conditions.
14 - All prize(s) are non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the prize(s) become unavailable for any reason. If any winner is not able for whatever reason to accept the prize(s), then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize(s) to another participant.
15 - A list of winners' first names, initial of last name and country can be obtained by sending a SAE to the Promoter after 31st July 2008.
16 – With the exception of entrants resident in France the winner(s) agree to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the prize promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each winner’s name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the prize promotion in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to any winner for such use.
17 - The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the prize promotion.
