I wouldn't waste anytime on here.
I'd get your !!! to this site http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/lost-uk.asp, call them, head down today, and start begging.0 -
unless it's life or death don't think the passport office will turn around a new one that quickly nowadays, have you rung them?
Edit:
actually try this
http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/apply-urgent-within-two-days.asp
though for some reason it doens't show a fee for a lost passport on the premium service

EMS! - that number is charged at £1.50 a minute and isn't the official passport agency!!
You need to apply for an urgent replacement & make an appointment asap:

Unless there's a possibility of trying to find it if it's somewhere in the house? Bear in mind once you report it lost/stolen, the passport is cancelled so can't be used & you'll have to go through the above process.
oops!!! have edited . thanks0 -

Call again. Sometimes different staff give different advice. If possible go to the nearest passport office with a new photograph and proof of who you are, where you live and ask for a new passport. Take driving licence, birth certificate, utilies bill etc. It's dearer than applying in the ordinary way but you can get one the same day if you get a sympathetic member of staff. My niece did this and had a new passport within 4 hours, thanks to a nice young man in the passport offce." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

When you say lost how lost?
You keep working on getting a new one but get friends & relatives around to search for it, every pocket, shelf, draw pull them all out.
Good luck!0 -
Make an appointment at the passport office ASAP, sometimes they can be fully booked.
(You may wish to consider faking a death in the family in your honeymoon destination, depending how desperate you are)

Did you put it in the glove box in the car?
Did you take it somewhere to prove your identity and may have left it there?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
