Dell Blue Screen Problem Help??

hi folks,
i hope someone can help as my sissters dell dimension 3000 pc with windows xp home is having a problem on strt up.
when the computer boots up it shows a blue screen, with:
unamountable_boot_volume
step:0x000000ED
(0x82376268,0x0000006,0x0000000,
0,0000000)
it wont alow the system to boot up from there and i have already tried the safe mode and last working configuration but neither work and the screen again stops at the blue screen again and wont go any furher.
my sis has not added any hew hardware.
i dont think my sis has a recovery disk for this pc.
any help or advice anybody cam give would be much apreciated

Quite a common error and should be easy enough to sort out if you have a boot disk. If not you could download one to your machine, and burn to cd for use on your sisters machine.
