I need a Paper Tiger!
For all of you who think I am crazy it's a tool that you put on water proof wall paper and it rips up the surface so when you wet it/ steam it it can get underneath and the paper drops off.
Anyway...any ideas where I can get one - get a lot of confused people in the stores I have enquired with.
If I can get the answer anywhere it's got to be here!

Never heard of it, sorry. Couldn't you use a knife instead? That's what I'd do ;DBulletproof0

oh i think i might know something like what you mean, i have seen this type of thing offered on qvc, it's like a small box type thing with blades in the bottom and you roll it over the wallpaper before wetting, i think it also comes with some reusable sheets that you wet and place over the wallpaper, leave for a short while and then peel off and the wallpaper apperently all comes off with it. never tried it so wouldn't know. i think its about £12 - £15 or something, don't know if that helps any.
Theres also a qvc outlet store at warrington that sells stuff at least 50% off, if thats any use ???Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission

Actually, these things seem to be surprisingly difficult to find - unless we call them something else. Amazon.com (not .co.uk) will ship to Europe but it's not cheap! He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0 -
Ahh, so 'we' call them wallpaper scorers then...makes sense I suppose. Paper Tiger is just so much more exotic dontcha think
P.S. Well done for finding that on B&Q's site....I always give up in frustration when looking for anything there, they seem to have the worst site in the world.
Perhaps its just me though ???He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0 -
ah as ever money saving expert to the rescue. Thanks to eveyone and congratulations again on the B and Q website can neve find anything on there.
I could use a stanley knife but the room is massive and its previous owners were rather fond of waterproof paper (and many layers of it!) so it would take ages and would have to do an impression of a knife crazed lunatic - paper tiger way forward - thanks again.0
