Thanks. Still totally shell shocked as for various reasons I thought I couldn't have children. I had written the symptoms off to raging PMT:rotfl:

Got a book called 'Emma's diary' from the midwife yesterday and my pre scan pack to start filling out for my next appointment. Can't believe that little Bumpy Bean has cost me over 20quid in 2 days (single test and folic acid tablets):rotfl:

Bit of both really. Have seen a couple of other jobs that I'd probably like better, but if they offer me this one I doubt I'd say no! We'll see what happens, I get pretty stressed about the whole thing but at the end of the day if it's meant to be...

Ooh it'll be lovely for you telling your mum and dad about beanie. Is your mum the 'start knitting now' type? I fear if I have kids my mum will have knitted them clothes for life before they're born... :D

My Mum knits, crochets, quilts, makes cards and shops for britain so I would guess at least one day of my holidays will be spent discussing nursery colour schemes and picking out fabrics and yarns so she can get cracking.

Another day will be spent with the 2 of us playing around with card designs for the birth announcement. I'd like to make them myself but Mum loves it too and as she's so far away it helps her feel involved (she made my wedding invitations which were stunning).

I was looking at crochet patterns myself last night too:o

Aww fab, should be fun! I've just started knitting again after not doing it since I was a kid, and have discovered the delights of visiting shops and fondling the wool... ooh baby alpaca and silk... :o :rotfl:

I do that too - wander around the shop for ages touching things and then leave without buying anything:rotfl:

Are you fully recovered from the Moonwalk?

Think I'm over the tiredness but still got a slightly dodgy left leg, can't walk for more than ten mins without a twinge in my thigh.

Yep I'm at the scarf level at the mo. Got some lovely wool (well nylon/ polyester stuff) from Wilkinson's for 99p a ball, gorgeous bluey green/ gold colours. Came complete with 'pattern' which was cast on, knit three balls, cast off - my sort of pattern :rotfl:

    Hi all

Just logging on in my lunch break to catch up. Glad to see the Daily Chat thread eventually made an appearance - was worried earlier!

Loved the chat topic last night - shame I missed it. I don't have much to contribute any way as deffo lacking in the boob department.

Lucifa - don't worry about too much baby talk. We love it....!
