Hi, been a member and lurker for a while now, however would welcome the input from other members as i've no idea what a reasonable price is for the following.
Bathroom : Remove existing bathroom suite, remove existing wall tiles and make good, fit new suite (supplied by me) and alter plumbing as required, box pipework as required, tile walls (8 sqm) and floor (3sqm), supply and fit Mira Magna digital showerto loft with riser to suit, supply and fit 600x1200 chrometowel warmer, supply and fit white ash lining to ceiling complete with 4 downlighters and new extractor and switch to replace existing. Remove all waste from site. Total inc VAT £3450.
Same plumber has already fitted new Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 30si (£1950) and seems to have done a very good job.

I've been quoted £1800 + VAT for a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. Its about 2.2m x 2m. This include complete removal of old bathroom and installation of new suite. Additionally complete replastering of walls/ceiling and full tiling (supplied by us).
* Note that this work is in addition to a bigger job given to the same person. We will not have an electric shower installed as we will be installing a Megaflo system so it will run directly off the main system I believe.0 -
Cheers for the info, my bathrooms about the same size, 2.1 x 2.1, i'm also supplying the tiles, i'm guessing the shower, radiator, lining for ceiling plus the downlights and extractor would cost between £1000-£1500, means labour is around £2000. Not sure if that's the going rate or not, i'm in Ayrshire in sunny Scotland0

I've had two quote through for mine now (1.8m x 1.8m)
Labour is £2700 and £3500
Remove and dispose of exisiting suite,
Floor to wall tiling (15-16m²) + Tile floor (2m²)
Fit new bath, glass shower screen, sink, toilet, wall mounted tap and heated towel rail.
Install ceiling mounted extractor fan linked to light switch.
Time for more quotes I think!0 -
went into BQ for their ideas on a plan for bathroom - they quoted £3000 for pure installation of bath, sink ,toilet, shower, and removal of old items( in the same places so a basic fit) Got phone call yesterday and they said that this tuesday they have an offer of free installation and 15% off goods if you spend 1300 on bathroom suite/shower with them.
Did you find anywere that supplied the showers cheap as im after one of these now aswell and wanted a good price ?0 -
Strawberry, don't know whether you were looking for the shower i picked or not, but i've left that purchase to the plumber as hr'll get trade discount0
