Royal Mail - increase in opened mail!

Options
Morning all,
I visit several forums, and in the last week or so there has been a massive increase in peoples mail being delivered with
a/ opened envelopes
b/ damaged envelopes
c/ missing articles from envelopes
d/ nothing in the envelopes

The main one is that the envelopes seem to have been opened down the sides, so they look like they havent been opened from the top, it's a perfect slit!

Lots of us have had "swaps," "cards," "vouchers," go astray from the envelopes.

I urge you to complain if you get this, I am amazed just how frequently this has happened in the past couple of weeks.
Sig ah Sig Ahhh

to be honest im not suprised with the state of the royal mail as it is

there was a story of a person who sold an expensive item and sent it via royal mail only to find out that the person never got it and somehow it managed to get sold on ebay by someone working at the post office

I've had the same problem. This week had an envelope that has clearly been deliberately opened at the side.

Previously I've had mechanically damaged envelopes.

Have complained but heard nothing yet....will I ever....doubt it.

Just check your credit files and make sure theres nothing dodgy going on.

My husband has a subscription to Fast Bike magazine. EVERY month without fail, the bag is ripped and his free gift is missing. The Post Office don't want to know - they have ignored several letters and when I finally got through to a person on the phone, they suggested I take it up with the magazine! The magazine now send it in a brown plain envelope and he hasn't had a gift go missing since this began.
