I personally think it is wrong for so many people to be requesting samples. I know it is MSE however if they are presents for your childrens teacher then they would be just as happy with something home made from the children. Companies are now going to be swamped with requests for everyones childrens teachers and will simply say no.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

I think you may be right. Avon were very kind to me, and send me a small collection of free sample to include in my childrens gift baskets.
But it seems hundereds of people are jumping on the wagaon, so those people who want it for a specific reason (ie Pressies or youth camps) are being refused.
It is such a shame.

My Children have made home made baskets for the teachers at Christmas and I thought they looked a little bare, this is why I asked about the samples. I was lucky enough to get a few nice little bit for the kids to pop inside. Nothing over the top, just a sample of showergel & Perfume off Avon, Moisturiser tube from simple, and body cream from nivea.
They look really nice now they are finished. The kids are really pleased with them!!! And Yes I think home made gifts are great for teachers, much more personal than a box of chocs.
I think you are right in your opinion that too many people have jumped on the wagon for seeing they can get freebies (Not Aimed at any MSER's), so I have removed the list of addresses.
And hopefully any genuine requests will be answered.
