changing the partition size

I have an acer aspire laptop. I was wondering my C and D drives are 30gb each. Is there anyway I can alter the size of each partition to what I would like? Thanks for your advice.:T

There are a few free partitioning software programs out there such as this one:

Just make sure your backups are up-to-date in case anything goes awry.

I haven't actually used this product myself but the reviews seem pretty good.
You just need to make sure that you read the instructions carefully when partitioning drives to make sure you don't inadvertently wipe all your data.Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity.

If you are using Windows Vista, you can resize partitions using the Disk Management tool under Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage.0
