Hello everyone.
I already have SkyHD and was wondering about getting a FreesatHD box.
My question is do I use 1 of the cable's coming from the dish and put it through the FreesatHD box then run it to the SkyHD box or as I have a quad LNB do I run a separate cable?
Many thanks in advance.
Pete.

best thing to do is run another cable from your quad LNB, into your freesatHD box..
this means that you still have full recording functions on your skyHD box, which requires 2 feeds to function correctly..

Thank you.
I did notice that a box I was looking at online had LNB cable in and out so I wondered whether I could put the box inline with one of the cables used by SkyHD and if I would still have full recording.
I wondering if the LNB in and out is there for this purpose.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
LNB in out is a loop through so if you use the out to feed another receiver it will only access the channels that are the same polarity as the master box ie if your Sky box is tuned to a Vertical Polarity channel then the out to the second box will only receive Vertical channels -- As suggested the best way to get a FULLY functional second box is to give it a separate LNB input -- dave0
