Parking for Liverpool Uni

Am Taking DD to Liverpool uni open day on fri 27/6. Can anyone tell me which is the best carpark to use we will probably be there most of the day Kathy

Go up London Road (fairly major road) at the bottom of it is the Empire Theatre and Odeon Cinema, continue driving up it. Carry on untill you start seeing the university buildings, on your right ahdn side you'll eventually see a big grey buildings with University of Liverpool Biosciences and MerseyBio or something written on it. Soon after this just after the hospital on your left theres a turning that goes towards the hospital. Immediatly as you take the left theres a little bit of waste land with a car park. Think its £3 for the day or something. The actual university car park is vey expensive.

There are some free spaces outside the University guild and at the back of the Vet faculty on Crown street, but there usually all taken by 8.30am.

Open Day 27th June

The University is holding an Open Day 27 June 2008. All barriers will be raised to accommodate the high volume of traffic.

Have a look at the Superlambananas while you are in Liverpool they are cute.

I understood this to be all car parks available to visitors on that day.
They do get busy , but there is also an NCP car park at the bottom of Brownlow Hill and one opposite Lime Street Station @ St Johns Market.
There are also posh new road signs showing where spaces are in town.
