MBNA interest after 1.9% Period

Hi All,

I have a MBNA Platinum Plus card with a balance of around £1500 on it.

It is currently 1.9% until April 2006 (for all of the balance).

After this period is up, I take it it will revert to the standard 15.9%. Will this only apply from April onwards, or will interest be backdated to the period the balance transfer was requested at the higher rate?

I do plan to shuffle to a new 0% card or LOB card, but not sure if I'll get accepted or not.

The standard rate of interest will only apply from April onwards and there shouldnt be any backdating.

Thanks. I'll look at shuffling closer to the time, but just wanted to make clear what the charges would be.
