BT Hub Phone Assistance

I've had a BT Hub Phone for a year now and all working fine.
A few days ago, it just would not ring out. I have the high-pitched dial tone, but when I dial there's just another monotone sound and no connection.
Any ideas as to what to do? Wonder whether I should re-register the phone with the base? Has anyone had this problem?

Try resetting the Homehub router or switch the router off for 30 seconds and switching back on.Always looking for a bargain and to help0
