Gutted - prize lost!

HI

Can anyone help! im gutted received email today from yahoo to say as i didnt respond to their email by 17th June i have lost my prize.

The prize was a 2 day break to disneyland paris from this post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=894477&highlight=yahoo.co

I HAVENT RECEIVED THERE EMAIL TO SAY I WON IT! i have been through my in box and spam box with a fine toothcomb and cant see anything.

I have emailed her back to say not received email but not heard anything , tried to call but get an answer phone.

im so gutted if i've missed out can they do this?

I think they may have covered themselves in the t and cs. Bless you - I can imagine you feel devastated.

I don't know what advice to offer. However, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that someone on here will be able to give better advice.

as been said they may have covered themselves in the T & C though I would try and call them if you have the number or can get it and advise them of confusion etc etc and how gutted you are

thanks for your replys i have had email back to say the prize has been forwarded to someone else but if they don't respond then she will call me and let me have it back!

Thanks ginjim yes thats her but her answerphone is always on!

I've also said in email that there T&C Say every effort will be made to contact the winner, (and as far as im concerned as they had my address and phone number they should of written to me or called me but didn't ) so i don't think they made every effort!

We shall wait and see now fingers crossed the other people are on hols!!!

email someone higher up and explain to them how let down u are, ask them to forward their so called email, they have not made enough attempts to contact u, i fel so gutted for u as id be devastated in your shoes, xxxxxx good luck! dont give up on this xx
