    If you can claim JSA then make sure you put in a claim for council tax benefit. I believe you can claim IS as you have been forced to quit work to care for your young children, do check it out. I think you can ring the IS helpline for info. Its going back a fair few years ago now, but when my ex left and I had to stop working evenings I was told that as I had an under 5 I could claim IS even though I left my job of my own accord. Hope you manage to sort something out to tide you over til you can get some daytime work :)
