please help - need to complain

Options
hi

ok so i am faced with needing to write 2 different complaint letters and have never written one in my life.

the first one is to gamestation as i had an unfortunate run in with a sales assistant, our wii broke down and the sensor stopped working, we packaged it all up as requested and took it into store (we had a 1 year warranty) the woman said she needed to go out the back and test it which we agreed to, she was gone for around 15 mins and then came back and tried to tell us that the wire that runs from the sensor bar to the wii had been broke in 2 which is why it wasn't working.
now i know for a fact that it was perfectly fine as i had packed it up only 10 mins earlier.

the sales assistant then told us the only way we could get it swapped was to buy another warranty at a cost of £19.99. the shop was very busy so not wanting to make a fuss we paid the money and got our replacement.

i now want to complain about this woman to head office but dont have a clue where to start.

secondly, we have just come home from a weeks holiday with park resorts and the caravan was so disgusting, the main bedroom was damp and had mould growing in the corners and wallpaper peeling off the walls. this caused my husband to need hospital treatment for a serious asthma attack brought on by the damp, it also meant all our clothes felt wet and smelt awful.
when we mentioned it to the staff we were told twice that someone would come to see us which noone did . we have got photo's of the damp areas and obviously the hospital has a record of what happened to my husband, i therefore want an apology from them.

I hope someone can help with these letters.

thanks

just write down what you've written here. put dates, times around everything to give it context, how you paid, when you complained, how often you complained etc...

The warranty bit seems odd, that you could pay for something to cover you after the damage had been done? I presume they also replaced the part? Do you have copies of the paperwork issued when you returned the wii? i.e receipt for the warranty, details of the fault (according to the shop), what you are now covered for?

post the drafts for review once you have time to write them.
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?
