It gets worse. I just checked my barclays online banking and have been charged 60 quid for being over my o/d limit without realising it. am gutted as i now have absolutely no money to see me through to pay day next week. Am very worried about my situation now. Time to really try to find some extra earnings!!

I purposely left my wallet at home today-no treats allowed! My OH bought me a box of chocolate bars that he saw on sale so i can stop buying chocolate. Determined not to spend this weekend at all. i have vouchers for tesco to use on fuel so i think i'll be ok. Fingers crossed!

  • I've being quidco-ing for nearly a year and by only using it for things I would have purchased anyway (eg cat insurance, car insurance, xmas pressies through play etc etc) I've "made" about 300 quid! So I definitely think it's worth it.

You just have to be strict with yourself and not use it as a way to buy stuff you don't need.

    'Fraid I've never done pigsback.

Rotten news about your O/D charges - if this is the first time, it may be worth calling your bank and explaining that it was a one-off and you're a good customer etc and sometimes, if they're feeling generous, they do refund the charges.

Otherwise, there's loads of advice on this forum about getting bank charges back so look into that cos 60 quid seems steep!

I've signed up to pigsback and have earned £1.35 in clicks so far with no purchasing involved. Quidco i've made about 59p as i spent a voucher via there. I have been so good and not spent a penny at all for the whole weekend, which is extremely unusual. Also had a star in the form of my mum who has offered to pay off one of my overdrafts and i can pay her back when we have more money so i feel really lucky there. So far its going well and the boards on here really do help. Just hope i can keep it up!

With extremely bad hayfever and being kept awake all night with thoughts of money and my debt i am not having a good day. It would be so nice to just have one week where i'm not lying awake worrying about something!

Today is going better as i got paid better than i expected, with overtime and also some tax rebate for this year i got an extra £300. Am very happy as it means my £700 overdraft has been paid off more than i thought and if i am strict with my spending for the next month i may be able to pay off my own overdrafts within the next two months. Lets hope this is the beginning of something good finally. I should get my cheque for my tax refund this month too so that will put me in such a good place. Thanks to those who gave me advice on selling books etc as i am looking into it now. Also the same on the click throughs, EagleLearner's thread has been very helpful. Happy Tuesday everyone!!!! xx

Morning Tinkabell sounds like you are doing really well already.

Just wanted to say thats pigsback is definately worth it. I know it doesn't seem much but that tiny bit of effort everyday means I have £40 of vouchers which I am saving up for christmas.:D
