Hi
I was give a home movie recorded on DVD+R which I can view on my DVD player. I want to make a copy of it on my PC but I have one of the early Pioneer DVD-R writers, can I do this easily?
Thanks for any help.

As the disc has been written to and I assume the session ended (you used it in a stand alone dvd player) there is no reason why your dvd in the computer will not read it as a standard DVD. The formats only matter when writing. for example a unwritten dvd+r will not work in a dvd-r and vise versa.
Stick it in the computer and use your regular dvd writing software to do a copy.Welcome, rogerramjet.
