You could at least google first and then come back with specific questions!

I bought a USB turntable for £50 from a DJ warehouse in Lakeside Essex last Friday (was £54.99 delivered on eBay). It does 33 and 45 records and works really well. It comes with the software you need too. Once you have recorded your record then you can convert to MP3 or WMA using the software provided.
You also have a left and right phono output to connect the deck to an external amp.

It depends on your existing equipment.

I used an old hi-fi with turntable on it. I ran a standard cable from the headphone socket to the line-in socket on my PC's sound card.

I then used the built in Windows sound recorder to record the songs as a .WAV file. I then loaded the .WAV files into a WAV editor so I could reduce the gaps between the songs, minimise the clicks and hisses associated with vinyl records.

Once done, you can save the .WAV files to a CD to play on a normal CD player or convert them to MP3 files.

There are a lot of good websites out there with tutorials on them to do exactly what you need.
