garden gate bolt extended reach

Can you get bolts like these but will longer reach?
Our current bolt doesn't isn't long enough to go into the gate post (gate and post painted in white gloss) the post is off a slight angle to the gate and the bit that sticks out to stop the gate opening goes into a hole within the post but only by a few mm
The bolt that is fastened to the gate protrudes out from the side to the gate so the bolt is closer to the gate post than normal
