What do you do benefits wise when you split with your partner?

My partner has moved out, and im HOPING i've notified the relevant people. Tax credits, Council Tax people that we're not a couple any more ... we're not in the low income bracket but is there anyone else i need to inform that he's not in our house anymore - i want to make sure i dont get stung for benefit fraud or anything silly like that. (we have 2 young children)

Might be worth telling the council's Electoral Services dept so he gets taken off the Election register. That's a cross-check that sometimes makes it look like someone is there when they've left.Also, any banks/building societies etc etc that are still sending mail to your address.0
