Hi All,
First post here, and a challenging one!
When I was born (many moons ago!), I had some premium bonds bought for me by my great aunt.
Unfortunately she passed away and I have no record of them - could these be traced somehow??

I've never used this, but it was mentioned on the BBC a while back. Its got to be worth a shot

Or you can cut out the middle man and go direct by using NS&I's tracing service. Since they run premium bonds and are the institution that actually holds your records it will surely be the fastest method but there is a delay due to the success of mylostaccount's service!

Hello
When I left my parental home I wrote to National Savings with a list of the Premium Bond numbers that had been in safekeeping for myself and my siblings asking for confirmation of which bonds were registered in whose name.
The reply was very prompt and we were also issued with holder numbers for future reference.
So if you have your bond numbers give it a go.

Did the same myself. NSI were able to trace my childhood bonds even though I had no record of them. You do need to give them as much information as you can (like addresses you have lived at and the dates, etc.).0

you just need to supply any addresses you have lived at your full name
they are a very nice bunch of peeps......
we did it a few years back and within weeks, my wife had one £50.... not a penny since thoughsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
