The firefront has to come off for a service on this one then both parts need servicing/cleaning also the integrity and pull of the chimney needs to be checked, there are now new ventilation regulations which may mean the existing ventilation needs upgrading.
I would charge about £70 for a full, (proper) service on a BBU
BTW I would also advise you invest in a CO alarm if you haven't already got one, visit www.trustcorgi.com for detailsMine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0 -
What is the point in having Corgi gas engineers if people think they can service their own boilers? Where will it end? DIY neurosurgery?Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

All CORGIs do for a service is hoover a boiler out anyway.
.
Only joking. I'm a CORGI myself:p.0 -
We charge £60 + vat for a back boiler/fire service which takes over an hour to do.0
