HELP ME ..Boden temptation

I am on the cusp of spending - more than a hundred pounds on a Boden offer. They are lovely ...expensive...children's outfits. I am happy to be frugal but I must..I really want.... to see my children in lovely clothes. I am straining not to press the submit button....
Have I got the money?....not really but I could do some creative accounting ...
Do they need the clothes?....No but ....they've got last summer's clothes that fit --- but it would give me so much joy to see them in new summer togs..life's too short..it's not for me......I'm gonna press that button.....
I could sell them afterwards on ebay so really i'm spending £50 ..
To press or not to press...you decide dear friends

Don't do it!
You wouldn't be asking if you really felt you should do it!
You'll probably feel bad afterwards and not properly enjoy seeing the kids in their lovely clothes anyway..0 -
Will the kids really be that happy with their new clothes or would they rather you spent £100 on doing something fun with them? Most kids I know aren't that bothered about nice clothes, if that is the case then you are doing it for yourself not them. So buy yourself something nice for £50 :rotfl:0

HELL no. You want to spend £100's on clothes that are going to get filthy dirty, covered in food and generally destined to become rags within a month?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.

no, don't do it! You'll have the 'low' after the high of spending the money - and imagine how you'll feel when they drop icecream down them!
They'll be just as happy in Asda clothing.Pay off a Debt by Christmas 2008 Challenge: £1500 overdraftTotal paid off: £235Comping: July wins: The Who tribute band tickets (£24), MP3 download, Man Utd DVD (£17), Life's too F'ing short book (£13)0 -
Nooo dont do it.
Like others have said kids dont tend to care about clothes, and I doubt you would shift them on ebay if they have been worn etc.
Again, has been said before but if you really felt it was ok, you would do it no questions.

Don't do it, anyway Primark have some lovely kids clothes and you get more for your money than you would with Boden.
As said before kids don't care about clothes or labels - its just their parents that do. So do yourself a favour and don't click the submit button, just nip to Primark or better still Ebay.0 -
Nooooooooooooo don't do it Boden is so overprice although have to admit very nice too

You can get lovely clothes for your kids elsewhere at a fraction of the cost.
My little one always looks nice in my eyes and she mainly wears Tescos, Asda or bargains from boot sales of ebay.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

charity shops!
you can get new and nearly new kids clothes (boden, next other great labels) for a fraction of the cost - and you would get much more pleasure from getting them so much cheaper (and you will be helping a charity).
when they have worn them your can still either ebay them or send them back to the charity shop.0 -
If you must get designer stuff, wouldn't you be better off going to the 50% off sale at Debenhams?
My vote's still for Primark, Asda or Ethel Austin for kids clothes though...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
