Looking for 256 RAM for a Toshiba Satellite 1800-504 at a reasonable price?
Know that the laptop is using 128mb sodimm pc100 144 pins and have been recommended Kingston KTT-SO100/256 but ideally would like to find the equivalent for cheaper.
Thanks in advance.

Have a look on http://www.crucial.com/uk or http://www.aria.co.uk0 -
Got a 128mb off ebay a few months back, I think it came to about £12.00 with postage.

Use Crucial's Memory Selection Tool which will examine your system and tell you which of their products to use. You can then either buy it from them, and their prices are reasonable for the quality, or take note of the spec and buy Ebuyer Extra Value RAM.
Laptop bits do tend to cost more than desktop bits.0 -
I checked the Crucial website(could not find a product to match) and got in touch with both Toshiba and Kingston before posting, both gave me the product number required. I suppose I just wanted names of other companies that make RAM which is compatible with my laptop apart from Cru and Kin (can be quite expensive)
Thanks everyone for your help.catch220
