Hi All,
Firstly, I apologise if this is not allowed on this forum. I tried to check the rules, and other than referrers - which this isn't I couldn't find anything of help. - Please let me know if I am wrong and I'll delete this.
Can you spare a moment to vote for a small charity?
The Werewolves of London is a disabled and special needs ice hockey program, the only one like it in the country.
We've been nominated for a £2k award from National Lottery and to be in with a chance of winning, we need to get people to vote.
To vote, please click here, then click on the 'iVillage best in health category'
The Werewolves are almost at the bottom of the webpage, so scroll down, click 'read more' then at the bottom of that page click 'vote'
Many thanks
My interest in this is that I have 2 children in this project, and I am also the Chair.
For more information on the team, please see the following link here
If you know of someone who would benefit from the programme, please use the links on the Werewolves website (sorry I don't check my PM very often!)
Thanks in advance
GW

Hi,
Just an update, the closing date is Friday at 12:00
So PLEASE VOTE FOR US.
It really is an amazing project that makes such a difference.
Without naming names, what makes it wonderful for me is one player, who couldn't communicate, wouldn't make eye contact, couldn't skate, (just stood there).
Now he can skate, looks at you and his face beams with a huge smile.
It makes it all worth while when you see how much of a difference it makes to just one player.
Thanks
