Own New House Allocated Parking....

Annoying Neighbours who insist on parking in my space!
I have a space in the communal car park allocated to me, It is on the deeds & is the third space along. Someone usually ends up parking in my Space & there seems to be the same one or two people.
The car park is at the back of someones house, so am I allowed to put a sign up on there fence or not?
Also any tips on this issue as I dont want to offend my new neighbours, but my space is wuite close to the house & don't like lugging shopping further than I need to.

I'd put a note on the windscreen politely poitning out it is your space and could they park elsewhere. Then paint your house number on the tarmac. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I know this problem can be very annoying.
I think you can buy / install fairly cheaply pop up bollards, that maybe the only way to guarantee your space.
If it is the same car / repeat offender I would go and have a polite word with them (probably some one has nicked their space hence they take yours etc etc).0 -
yeah its prob an ongoing thing, also the people before me inthis house didn't have a car & the house was empty for about 6 months or so.
Takes someone to make the first move i suppose.0 -
Surely the first approach is to go and speak to them, introduce yourself as the new owner and ask if they realise that you own the space. If the space hasnt been used recently, they probably just sort of claimed it, but now its yours so time to break the habit. Best to resolve in person before resorting to signs and bollards, remember you have to live there and if you go on the offensive, you may come down to your parking space one morning to find a brick through your windscreen or key scratched along the door.0

white paint on the floor of the parking space with your house number, then no excuse for not knowing who it belongs to.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0
