was just wondering who was gonna be the first to try the paydayuk thing for the 2nd time lol
Tried it for my OH around a month ago, a couple of days after doing mine, was a risk, but both show as received now. I did use different banks and debit cards though. don't know if that makes a difference.

I have just done Pru health (£85) thruogh quidco, its racked but says Feb 2009! on the site it says 120 days. Is this normal?

I went through Quidco last July for Pru and still waiting to get paid. Patience will be your best friend in regards to Pru

  • Thanks slimboy fat - that explains the ticket thing. I did get an email confirmation from the company so I will keep hold of it. Hopefully it will track. If it doesn't appear do quidco ever really sort it out for you? I've never had any probs before

They do chase up anything above £1. I currently have 5 tickets. 2 have been sorted and paid out. One shows as "Processed" but no payment as it was below £1. 1 has been sent to the merchant and 1 is ready to send (Quidco delay sending them in case it solves itself).

So apart from the delay and the seemingly increased amount not tracking (for me anyway :( ) it seems that these do get sorted.

    Hi,

Just to say many thanks to those who posted above re Payday UK. I made my application a couple of days ago and have just received confirmation that it's gone through! Brilliant!

In case others are thinking of applying, it now asks for a landline number for both you and your employer, so it doesn't look like you can get round this by putting a mobile number in. However I just put my home landline number in for me and my employer and it's gone through anyway.

I also did the application the evening and it seemed more automated - there was no phone call, just a text to my phone giving me a code I needed to type in to complete the application.

Thanks to all those who posted - this money will come in really handy for my various DIY adventures... !

    Regards

Well, Payday UK rang me at home (no answer), then at work (no answer), then on my mobile, where they found me. They left discrete messages saying they were from 'PDUK'. They wanted to know if I wanted to extend the loan for another month, obviously I said no.
Now though, its 3 days past my pay day, and they havent taken the money back yet. On the paydayuk site, it says my loan is settled, and I have no outstanding borrowings. I'm sure its gonna be taken in the next couple of days, but you never know...
No problems with the quidco cashback, £70 already received and should be paid to me 1st august.

Technically I know this isn't a no spend, but it's a very little spend -
Abel & Cole (veg boxes etc) will pay £10 for setting up an account and a order within 7 days of account set up (5% on orders thereafter). Anyway I set up an account and ordered my veg box costing £10.95, tracked within an hour so when they pay out my veg box will have cost me 95p, worth a look maybe, plus it makes you feel all green and fluffy inside!

Thank you, I signed up and I was miffed you can only be Mr or Mrs; I am not married!!

I also just went for a Payday loan. It says it cannot verify my ID. It wants a utility billl in my name but I don't get these; the landlord does. Now what?

Maybe you could provide them with your Council Tax bill?
