You have to do a search on Kelkoo and click through to the product on a merchants website to earn your 2p

Hi ruthiejane, I think what bristolleeds fan is getting at is that the rest of us are only getting 2p per search! What are you doing that's different?

  • I have just noticed that 02 broadband has gone back up to £60 cashback for 1 year contract for home broadband,

    http://www.quidco.com/o2-broadband/

If you have a mobile phone contract with o2 you can get 8mb broadband for £7.50 instead of £12.50, you can even get it at £7.50 if you have a o2 pay & go phone that you top up £10 every 3 months, with the quidco cashback it works out at £2.50 per month for 8 mb broadband unlimited download, O2 has got really good reports in the press recently for quality of service and customer care, unlike Virgin Media,

It gets even better if you are in receipt of 1 of the 3 qualifying benefits,

    Income support,

    Income based Job Seekers allowance,

    Or Guaranteed Pensions Credit,

You can get a BT landline for just £4.50 per month, instead of £10.50 (it's called BT Basic),

BT will need your National Insurance number to check if you qualify, they do this through the DWP, BT say it can take up to 6 weeks to sort out, it may take up to 3 weeks just to receive the application form, for this reason I asked Quidco if the o2 offer is likely to end soon and they said "This offer is a ongoing offer for the foreseeable future". they sent that reply on the 11th of November.

Her is a link to a MSE thread about it,

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1231765

It is a very new service from BT and the sales staff haven't been told that you can have any internet provider on the BT basic phone line, not just BT broadband, here is a link to a BT press release that explains all about the service, if you read that to the sales staff they will then change their mind, you only get £1.50 call allowance per month with Bt Basic, so if you use the phone alot it probably isn't worth getting this phone line, but it is perfect if you just use it for the internet, or incoming calls only, as BT are transferring all customers who are on the "light user scheme" automatically to BT Basic, as they are phasing out the light user scheme shortly.

I found this link on page 3 of the BT basic thread, post 49, A big thanks to Graham1 for this info, the number at the bottom of the press release is incorrect it should be,

    0800 800 864.

If you qualify for all the above it works out that you get 8mb broadband & the phone line for £7 per month, even if you don't take up the offer use it as a bargaining chip with your existing supplier to reduce your bill with them.

You also may need to check if you phoneline is disconnected that you do not incurr the re connection fee of £124.99, my line is a stopped line so I will not incurr the reconnection fee, BT said that if your line has been stopped for more than 3 months they may remove the hardware from the exchange, this is where the connection fee would be chargable, BT should be able to check this for you.

Superhans - I currently have this deal with O2 and thought I should point out the following:

For anyone that is looking to get the discount with O2 for broadband by having a PAYG mobile, you only need to top up with £10 every 3 months, obviously you must make sure you remember otherwise you will lose your discount but its a good deal.

I'm not trying to be picky but just to highlight that it makes it an even better deal :T
