  • Yeah - I wouldn't go down that road either! To be honest, it is probably not worth it unless you can withdraw your £5 after you have opened the account, as you would be spending £5 to get £1.30!

Though if I can withdraw my £5 I will deposit it! lol!

Don't think you can use a credit card. If the law is the same as it was 4 years ago, you can't gamble on credit.

At least that was what we were told when I last worked in retail with a lottery machine.

This isn't via quidco, but if you sign up to Bet365 bingo, you get £10 free, no deposit required and can be withdrawn once played through 4 times. So if you win 45+, you are in profit (as minimum withdrawal is £5)

Got down to my last £3.90 and won just short of £34, carried on until I won a little more and was able to withdraw just over £40.

Shame it's not on quidco, but it's free and nothing to lose!
  • Does anyone know if there is anything to stop you from signing up for a National Lottery Account, depositing the minimum £5 and then withdrawing it?

Deposit 6.00, play 1.00, withdraw 5.00 and collect both the 50p registration cashback and the cashback for playing 1st game. ;)

With confused.com, you can do 5 quotes yeah?

Can you do all 5 at once? 1 a day for 5 days or spread all 5 out over time?

Just wanna make sure that I have read it correctly, that you can do it 5 times and earn £5 cashback.

    Thanks
  • Darn I am so thick! I didn't think of that!!!!

It was too late and I deposited £5 - but all is not lost as I played a £1 scratchcard - won £1! :T So am now going to withdraw my £5 and will hopefully be £5.50 up!!! Thank you MSE!

The quotes have to be genuine otherwise the merchant can refuse to pay.

Being as home insurance is ( bar a house move during the year ) a once a year event, what justification do you believe there is seeking more than quote for the same thing in a short space of time? Or even 5 quotes for the same thing in a short space of time?

Confused.com remembers peoples name and/or address details which means that if people give their correct details they get invited to log in as opposed to being able to gain a fresh/new quote.
