Death Valley Challenge

Cycle over 250 miles across Death Valley to help MAG locate and destroy landmines in the countries affected by conflict across the world: THE REAL DEATH VALLEYS.

Saturday 8th to Saturday 15th November 2008

Flying direct from London to Las Vegas, all our Death Valley cyclists will begin their challenge at Beatty Junction, about 100 miles from the centre of the city. Over the next five days, the group will cycle through California and Nevada, through altitudes ranging from sea level to 5500 ft, and through the dramatic rocks and shimmering dunes of America's largest national park, before cycling into the lights of Las Vegas.

Each participant will be asked to pay a registration fee of £195 to take part in the Death Valley Challenge and will need to raise £2,950 in sponsorship. Don't forget that MAG will help as much as possible in reaching this target and will give you any materials and resources that you need!

Everything you need is included; food (except lunch on last day), water whilst cycling, international flights (excluding airport tax in the region of £200 which is subject to change), coach transport in USA, accommodation, a support team to see you through the week and a MAG t-shirt. All you need to do is raise the minimum amount of sponsorship and be ready for the challenge of a lifetime!
