Child Booster Car Seat for Hire Car

Just a quick warning for anyone thinking of renting a booster seat with their hire car.
We were charged a whopping £30 for the hire of a basic booster seat by Avis in Majorca.
We pre-booked the car through the travel agents and could pre-pay for everything except the car seat - told us it would be a nominal extra charge payable locally.
By the time we went to collect the car at the airport and were told the charge, we had no choice but to accept it.
Next time, we'll take our own and check it in with the other luggage - they weigh next to nothing, and we noticed lots of people doing it - now we know why.
I wonder how many booster seats you could buy for £30?

We used europecar (I think thats how you spelt it)It was the cheapest which boasted free child seats, when we arrived in Majorca and picked the car up there were car seats all lined up outside for you to choose one free of charge,so far so good the only problem was they didn't fit the car we were allocated. We went back in to ask and no one cared, just got the shrug of the shoulders and not our problem grunts. We also got stung with the charge of £66.00 for a tank of petrol which takes some running down on a small Island. They are all out to get you!!!!!!bye hoo0
