I agree with you Twopints, it is unacceptable for BA to rip Fred Bear off, but it will probably cost him more than £1.75 to pursue the matter, thus being the reason I suggested he forget about it.

I'll just point this out. I'm not at work, I no longer work in retail. These are opinions. My opinions are also just that, they not an indication of customer service. If you've been served by myself in the past you wouldn't be able to work out who I was. At work I had to "act" as anyone in the service industry would do. I didn't stand there arguing with customers.............this is a forum, not my previous workplaces. These are opinions/thoughts on a subject only, not an example of how I would act at work.

I just thought I'd make this clear. If I started to work in a shop again and you had to pick me out, none of you would be able to do it.

You've worked in an airport, you've been a shop assistant for umpteen years or whatever, yet you seem to loathe customers.

According to you, the public are all aggressive, abusive people, trying to get something for nothing, and spouting claptrap about their version of the SOGA.

Your contempt for other people shines through in your every post. It must be a huge relief for you not to work in the service industry any more.

Amen to that my friend, I could not agree with you more :T

    All?

Show me where I said all?

Thats why I worked with the public for 13 years!

You and Gabrielle_316 should read what I write more carefully!

Was my survey of 2 million as a number of people to your satisfaction then? It must have been the foreign ones who could complain properly that kept me going!

Oh I see, whats your excuse then?

Thanks for all your replies. After my OP I sent this email to BA Customer Relations:
I understand from your letter that you mislaid receipts totalling £25.75 which I had attached to my letter. Also I understand from my telephone conversation that you have now found the bus tickets totalling £24.00, leaving one receipt for £1.75 still missing. If you wish I can email you a photocopy of this receipt. Please let me know which file format you prefer.
They replied that they will send me a cheque for the final £1.75. BTW I have always flown with BA because I like their booking website and their prices (to Hong Kong). Also during the SARS outbreak a few years ago they allowed me to postpone my flight by a few months with no extra charge.

It's quite true that you've never said, 'All the public are...' Or maybe you have, and I missed that post. But you're splitting hairs.

It's perfectly clear from your posts how you feel. Look at your posts objectively. You attack every single poster, and defend the organisation about whom they're venting without fail. If you'd like to show an example of a thread where a poster has complained about a company, and you've been on the OP's side, please go ahead. I doubt if one exists. If someone found a rat's severed head in a Tesco lasagne, you'd find some way to defend Tesco.

You certainly do seem to feel utter contempt for anyone who doesn't agree with you and who has never worked in retail.

Thirteen years as a shop assistant has jaded you terribly, for such a very young man. I hope that not all retail workers are affected as you seem to have been.

That was a belated edit! And about as mature as the playground, 'You're a poo!' 'No, YOU are.' 'No, YOU are. 'No, YOU are.' etc.

    So you write that:confused:

A bit hypocritical or was I getting too near the truth?

I'm now glad of my ability to see through others deliberate melodrama. Jaded is just the choice of word from someone who opposes my views.

The posters on here are not all the public though are they! As I've said umpteen times before you'll only see my probably comment on between 1 in 5 & 1 in 10 threads on here, not 'every single poster' as you suggest.

If you're going to try and criticize me you need to keep up!

Ah, Timmy, you just want a scrap! However, I'm not in the slightest bit intimidated by a young shop assistant with a big mouth and an even bigger ego.

You know perfectly well that you weren't 'getting too near the truth'. So many of your comments - and that was one - are juvenile and not worth answering. Even my teenagers wouldn't come out with, 'Well, what's your excuse then?' They'd know that by doing so they would lose all credibility in the debate. You are even more exhausting than they are. And seemingly less mature.

    :rotfl:

I was right. You really are a hypocrite!

You're doing exactly the same thing as me & you don't even realise it! You wouldn't have posted otherwise.

A hypocrite making it very clear they are older than myself, calling me juvenile. :rotfl:

Like I said, try and keep up!
