Problems opening Tesco internet savings account

I fancy one of these (6.25%) to feed regular savers with. Only problem is I don't seem to be having any luck with the application process. I answer the single/joint account question, then get told

Savings Account Applications are currently unavailable. Please try again later.

Anyone else had problems? Or anyone fancy having a quick go at starting the application process? That way I'll know if it's my problem or theirs.

I had the same problem on several occasions when I tried to apply during the evening. Try again in the morning, around 10am.

I successfully completed the online sign-up for myself and o/h. On both occasions I signed up during daytime hours.

Currently 20.00 @ Cashback Kings/ Get Pounds Back and R-Points ( 10.00 but has highest cashback guarantee match.).

Anybody know of any more 20.00 cashbacks avaliable. ( loyalty shopper and mutual points are 12.00/10.00 ish cashbacks )

Quidco say they cant offer it cos not on its affiliate network.
