entering urls in posts

anyone know why sometimes when I enter a url and post the domain name gets replaced with exclamation marks so it looks like http://!!!!!!!!!/pagename.htm

yes , the domain you are using has been used by someone else in the past to spam the forum and has been added to the site filter
it replaces the offending item with !!!!!!!!!!
like if I put this swearword !!!!!!!!Ex forum ambassador
