What was this beautiful car?

Got overtaken today by the most beautiful car I have ever seen.

From the front looks like the kind of car that posh people have for weddings but is squashed into a sports car shape. The back window was split into two like beetle wings.

Any ideas?

What is it? Does it have a special name?

Its a Morgan Aeromax, a limited run of 100 cars made by the Morgan Motor Company. It costs in the region of £110,000. It is a very rare car.

The Morgan Aero 8 on which this is based is a bit more affordable, not much more though. The OH used to work with a guy who had one, beautiful piece of kit. Until he introduced it to the pit wall at Brands Hatch on a track day.

I saw a rare car today too, wait for it, an Austin Allegro Estate, not quite as good as the flash Morgan!! it was an immaculate yellow one.
