Can anyone recommend a good mail order plant company?

This might sound obvious, but it can depend upon which plants you are after.
Any thing in particular or just general fruit/veg/flowers/shrubs etc?
I've bought from Thompson and Morgan before and they have been fine, but may not be the cheapest.

Hi there,
There are regular offers for cheap plants (just pay p and p) in most of the gardening mags. I buy amateur gardener which is a weekly one and I got 3 issues of Gardeners World for £1. It may be worth flicking through some mags in a library or newsagents and look out for any of the offers. I've recently bought a lot of plants this way and saved a lot of money. The main company who supply them seem to be Thompson and Morgan although there are occasionally other ones.
I've also bought plants on Ebay with no problems. Depending where you live, this time of year there are quite a few school fetes and car boots, also very good for picking up cheap plants.
Hope this helps.0 -
