does anybody know if you have to return Boots items to the same store that you bought it from? My son bought something when he was on a trip to London as a present for someone but now finds that they already have it, so he wants to take it back for a refund (he does have the receipt)

Can he just take it back to our local store or does it have to go back to the store it was purchased from?

I'd take it back, sounds like you don't have the original receipt?
They probably will exchange it or give you back the cost in vouchers!

It was said earlier in the thread if you don't have the receipt they will exchange the item there and then but they no longer give vouchers or gift cards.
