Me again...PC World/Currys laptop recommendations

Hi
I'm going to buy my first ever laptop tomorrow as I'm also hoping to change to wireless too. The closest shops are PC World and Currys so does anyone have any recommendations?
It will be mainly for internet access as I use the pc for work stuff, burning discs, music etc.
What sort of minimum memory size would you suggest and any laptops to avoid?

If thats all you need it for go for the very cheapest one you can find.0

If you do buy from PCW or Currys then as advised above buy online to avoid the endless hardsell of extras/ warranties etc.0
