Hi all,
im sorry if this has been posted elsewhere in the forums but i couldnt find it.
Does any one know anything about these companies who buy your house for cash at mabey 80% of the value but you have no fees to pay for anything?
I have posted in another thread saying that the cccs advised me to give my house back to the bank, but i wonderd if selling it for cash would be a better deal for me , any ideas you fantastic helpfull people ?

There is a thread right here somewhere (I'll find it in a minute and link it) where somebody's mum did this. Now it's the end of the rental agreement and she's found the house for sale on Rightmove.
This has a high probability of happening to most people.
Update:
Here it is "Help my house is for sale and I've not been told": http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=9755690 -
Not sure that a rental is needed, certainly not mentioned in OPThis is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

In that case, here's one from here a couple of months back:
Full thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=779557My house is on the market for 400k, and has sold twice for asking price but has fallen through...
After a few hours of his own internet research, the investor has deemed that the house is only worth £290k, meaning they will only offer me £220k for a house worth £400k!!!! So much for their advert stating they pay between 75% and 90% of market value.... more lke 55%0 -
We were only offered about 50% of value too. They did say that by time we'd finally sold we'd prob have lost that much anyway. Luckily, we're not that desperate to sell so we'll sit tight.0

I've begun to read threads elsewhere in which people are angry at now getting offers from the open-market at a thumping discount to offers they'd refused from National Homebuyers a few months previously.0
